Its first choice is also mine:

I-64 west to West Virginia exit 40 (Winfield/Point Pleasant)
US-35 north to Point Pleasant/Ohio state line
OH-OH-124 west/OH-32 west takes you into Cincy.
420 miles from Staunton to Cincy, takes 7 hours and 7 minutes.

This bypasses Huntington, BTW.

Have a bunch of quarters ready for tolls on the WV turnpike.

If you take I-64 to through Huntington to Lexington, then I-75 north, it will take 7 hours and 50 minutes.

If you take US-50 through Clarksburg and Parkersburg it will take 8 hours and 2 minutes.

I agree with Staph about the cops in Ohio. And they seem to be particularly fond of cars with out of state license plates.

Too bad you don't have a Tom Tom, she would talk you all the way in.
