4. Hear Hear
The Feds dropped the ball bigtime...

I support the Natives' claims BTW--they have a very good argument. I also initially thought that they probably should kick up some dust to get some notice.

But when an agreement was struck and it looked like everything was settled reasonably, it seems there was an outside group (probably the same ones that planted all that fake KKK shit among other things) that had a hidden agenda.

When the power went out, the Feds should have moved in as it could have gone from bad to worst very quickly. It almost seemed like the 'authorities' were waiting for a death to occur to act.

Really quite shameful when compared to the State response at the peaceful activities of the APEC summit protests or even Quebec City and actually quite shameful that Progressives seemed to sit on their hands then regarding the Cretin gov't--I remember being involved and having heard one of the New Dem Cult Apologists actually say that, 'well it would have been worst if the Reform was in power'--but in this situation seem to have found their 'voice' in support of violence and stupidity, simply because they don't like Canadians like the people in Caledonia.

But then again it's Canada, so there are many reactions that seem oddly out of place to the rest of the world--like unwitting Fed support for treason in Quebec. Apparantly unlike the rest of the world, Canada is divisible and open for sale to anyone at anytime. So if the French or Natives are important voting blocks to the Liberals or NDP, then all sense goes out the window and those parties go out of their way to run block for some pretty outrageous demands.

The Canadian Way that there is NO issue that can't be negotiated ultimately and NO priniciple of law or ethics that can't be abandoned for a new position if the need arises.
