17. Reporting from Columbus
People are not steamed up the way I wish they were. We had probably about six to eight hundred people at the State House last Saturday demanding an investigation into voter fraud. Only one local televison network picked it up, and their coverage was not good. ImY sign said: "Ukraine Demands U.S. Recount". When I was walking back to my car someone made a comment telling me that we should be praying for our leader, rather than protesting. My response was "It will be a very cold day in hell before I pray for YOUR leader." It started escalating from their, but luckely my wife had a cool head and stepped in before it got nasty.

Some have been protesting at Blackwell's office demanding that he step down. I wish I could attend, but had to work during the day. Protests and sitins are planned at the state house for both this Saturday and Sunday, and I will attend. (This time we will not have a permit, but we have the right to protest.)

There are a few of us that are fighting for our democracy, but I'm very disapointed in our numbers. What little coverage the media has had was more negative then positive. The general attitude seems to be "Give it up Kerry lost, Bush won, get on with your life."
