because all these legislators are drafting letters...Randi asked why Bev wasn't getting in, getting an affadavit, all that, so that her information could be added in.

Bev didn't have an answer to that, either. You're right, it was like she had no excuse, and didn't want to admit that she didn't talk to anybody.

I mean, come on. If she's overworked and can't get to everything herself(which is what she sounded like), what the fuck is she firing Andy for?
