164. Excellent list of what would certainly have happened.
By waiting, we also inadvertently benefited from what has transpired since November 2nd. Junior, his administration, and his fundie followers have gone over the top and around the bend in these last 6 weeks or so since the election. The escalating disaster that is Iraq, Rumsfeld's arrogant responses to our troops' need for armor, torture in Gitmo and American-run Iraqi prisons, Kerik's nomination and subsequent meltdown, Katherine Blackwell, wingnut values follies and threats to change the Constitution, House members re-writing rules to benefit DeLay, moderate republicans pressured to toe the line by neocons, Rossi threatening to use the courts to appoint him governor, Social Security's own security hanging by a neocon-held thread, Junior briefly conferring with his tie in yesterday's press conference, etc. and so on. We couldn't BUY that kind of public idiocy if we tried!

If less than half the country approves of Junior now, how many do you think will rally to his side when his 're-election' unravels?
