Board of Directors
Frank Donatelli, Secretary and Treasurer of the Board

Frank Donatelli, secretary and treasurer of the board, is the chairman of the Reagan Ranch Board of Governors. He is senior vice president for McGuireWoods Consulting and director of the federal public affairs department. In addition to his duties with McGuireWoods Consulting, Mr. Donatelli will act as counsel to McGuireWoods LLP.

Prior to joining McGuireWoods Consulting, he was a partner in the law firm of Akin, Gump, Strauss, Hauer, and Feld, LLP, in Washington, D.C.

Frank is a native of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and has a B.A. from the University of Pittsburgh and a J.D. from the American University School of Law.

Mr. Donatelli began his career with youth organizations, serving as executive director of Young Americans for Freedom and later as the first president of Young America’s Foundation. In 1980, he was Midwest coordinator of the Reagan campaign and went on to serve the Reagan Administration in several capacities. He served as assistant director for African Affairs at the Agency for International Development, then as deputy director of the Office of Public Liaison at the White House. He then became a partner with the law firm of Patton, Boggs and Blow in Washington, D.C. In the last two years of the Reagan Presidency, Mr. Donatelli returned to the White House as assistant to the president for political affairs.

Frank is co-host on Talking Points, a weekly update on politics at the national, state and local levels.

(So he was on Reagan's staff with Frank Carlucci and Ed Meese among others.)
