134. I actually fear for my life and yours…

We have a madman for a president, and a Repub house, senate, and court. The worst thing of course is that they are f*cking all of us over.

Two hundred million dollars a day for an illegal war (for what??)
Purposely ruining our environment (clear skies my ass, forest reform?)
Removing our ability to educate our children at all ages (no child left behind, pell grants)
A ballooning debt (80-100 billion more for Iraq – for what?)
Hated, hated throughout the world (ok, Tony like *).
Civil liberties –bye bye (patriot act I and II).
Medicare reform – they just f*ucked your mother, father, g-ma, g-dad, and us eventually.
Election system – Stalin said it best.

Just what has our government done for us? We pay are taxes – for what. Where is our infrastructure? What clean water do they drink? What clean air do they breathe? What safe food do they eat? The only thing they do for infrastructure is ‘make our roads safe’ – the gas tax to make our highway system. Why? Well it is so we can run our cars – so we can buy gas – so we can make them more rich – to wage a war with countries with oil.

Our politicians have screwed us all for at least 100 years. Once in a while, they help ‘us’- but not really.

The *only* way we will ever win is to revolt.

So, how am I doing? I see our country, our democracy, and our citizenship being destroyed. And I don’t know what to do to fix it. How do we get this huge ship called America (more pointedly our government) to plot a new course and actually do something for us the people, the environment, and the world for that matter?

I am addicted to DU. It has helped me tremendously. It is hard for me to do my job and maintain.

How do we organize 50 million people to change our country?
