67. I'm still not over November 2nd either
So much hope, and then dropping down a manhole. We were so damn sure. And if the exit polls are indeed correct, then the election results weren't just tweeked. This was grand theft auto. Is it really possible they stole an electoral landslide?

Even so, I'm not a believer in President Kerry. I'm a believer in Sen. Kerry.

The number one thing I want to see happening in the next couple of years is election reform.

Not that I wouldn't just love a President Kerry. In fact, I pray that I still can have a President Kerry in 2008, because I still think he's supremely qualified for the job. But I don't think we're going to be able to reverse what happened on Nov. 2.

The only thing I think we can do now is to reveal it as the illegitimate mess that it was and get that damned word mandate out of Bush's mouth. He didn't even talk about half of what he wants to do now on the campaign trail, at least not loudly.

Meanwhile, I hope the Republicans have the civil war I think they're going to within their party. That would be sweet.

But no, I'm not pinning my hopes on Jan. 6th. I can't. It would hurt too much.
