Reply #77: I feel the same as everyone else does [View All]

I'm new, and lurk a lot because there is so damn much to read around DU-and maybe also because I feel a wee bit overwhelmed by it all.

But this is the forum that resonates with me the most. Because it is every issue all at once-it is the core of democracy. It is here that I can come in those moments when I've lost all hope...and have that hope renewed because of the sheer determination, energy and grit of the brave souls who post here.

I can't help but feel that if this forum is closed, then it will feel like * has "won" in a way...and that not only has he once again stolen from all of us, but ripped our hearts out as well.

Sorry if that sounds melodramatic, but I am holding on for dear life here...
