I was apalled today when the poll worker said "You can choose paper or the touchscreen." Oh SHIT. We've always had mechanical lever machines, and in recent years, optical/paper ballots. At least these have the theoretical hope of audit/recount. I didn't think we'd succumb to the beast here in Loudoun. AAAArrghhh.
