5. I've Read Reviews of It In, Dare I Say, EIR?
So start bashing me people, go-go-go!

I'm not a LaRouche fan but I read alternative publications so SHOOT ME! I mentioned LaRouche once on DU and Will Pitt posted "FUCK YOU" so I must not be DU material but I'll risk posting this opinion anyway as a life-long democrat and as a futures trader for 14 years.

The U.S. markets are clearly manipulated in every possible way and this book's supposed insights don't surprise me at all. We Americans will go anywhere at anytime and kill anybody for our own petty political and financial interests, no matter how petty or partisan.

I haven't read the book but I will. Until then, I'll think about the premise of this and other books: "The world is run by the elite".

No shit, that's why democracy exists and that's the reason why America was formed to begin with. As we Americans seem to be moving away from acknowledgement of what a democracy is, this book seems to be a reminder of what America is supposed to be about. And, it'll take force to take it back, force that could be intellectually based, but I doubt it.
