Maybe much of OK is backwards, etc., but what is so horrible about there being no black people in a cafe, people being dressed up (probably a group en route to or from a more formal function...and even if had to do with church, you are going to prejudge and assume they are bad people?), and ....horrors...OIL WORKERS!!!People wearing nice clothes or putting in an honest day's work to produce the fuel that you put in your car, give you the shudders?!

I live in Washington, DC, and I often enter restaurants, cafes, etc. where there are no black people. And often there are people dressed in...*shudder* suits in there!!

I think there is a kind of reverse phobia at work here.
