Everything from PFLAG, HRC and NGLTF to businesses that offer mail-order gay porn delivered to her home and if she said anything about it I'd tell her, "Since you were so generous to share your tracts with me I thought I'd return the favor." Then I would cut her out of my life ... but that's just the kind of vindictive fag I am.

Seriously, though, it's not worth it to waste energy on homophobic relatives. They will either come around on their own time or they won't. For now just remember these words from gay French author Andre Gide: "It is better to be hated for what one is than loved for what one is not."
