last half of the 19th century through to the 70's that were the chiefs proponents of our persecution.
we ended up in asylums being drugged or given shock therapy in order to cure us because of medical science -- churches mostly turned a blind eye to existence.
homosexuality -- certainly a sin -- but one in a list. - in what was a generally oppressive time.
ironic that after having fought so hard to get science off our backs -- we wind up in their hands with this epidemic.
