3. I have a friend that was just hospitalized for High Digoxin Levels
in the past week or 2. I forwarded this post to her....
I thought the fact of too much dig in her was odd because my understanding is that she's been on dig for a while, she's not elderly (the people I normally associate with increased dig levels because 1) they forget to take a dose, then forgot that they took a dose adn end up taking 2, or 2) decreased kidney/liver function which means more dig in the bloodstream because of decreased metabolism or 3) they're on more medications which can increase dig levels)...I wonder if this is the cause of her increased dig levels?
