my sister is out right now but when she gets home I'll have her download that and run it. I'm hoping it will work. She's only had the laptop a year and she's bummed out....as I would be.
I had a similar problem one time with Norton and since then have used McAfee. I usually buy a new disc for McAfee because Buy.com has it for $14.00 for a 3 license deal and I uninstall the old version of McAfee before loading the new one and I've never had problems with that.
