I still remember exactly what it felt like to hold him while we watched TV. He was an angel sent to us - much to teach us and we have much to learn. Thank you for the lyrics - time to dig out the album to listen again ("album", yes, I'm that old).

I lost another dear boy years ago and dreamed of him after he died meowing to get under my covers with me. I remember in the dream I was frustrated that he woke me in the wee morning hours and woke up realizing that Tommy had come to lie with me again, just like he used to. When Theo shows up in my dreams again, I will know better than to send him away.
