The Sony Cybershot F717 has been long time discontinued but I like more than the newer higher mega pixel models. I have the new R1 now but don't like it much yet.

Btw, your pic of your two in the chair, is the smaller cat the same breed? Smaller cat a sibling? Several years ago my upstairs neighbors mom stayed a week with her purebred Maine Coon cat. He weighed 27 pounds and wasn't over weight at all, he was just extraordinarily huge. Grandma got him by way of a "free to good home" add in the local newspaper. He was absolutely spectacular in every way but timid. Grandma complained that he was too heavy to sit in her lap and she would lock him out of her bedroom because she couldn't suffer him laying across her legs as she slept.
