Could YOU give up a pet that loved you like that?? I never could.
It almost reminds me of the relationship between an abused child and its abusing parent... how sad. Truly brings tears to my eyes that she is reluctant to let that baby kiss her. It is kind of heartbreaking.
I could NEVER give up any of my pets, and I am not even so sure they love me THAT much. hahahahahahahahaha
You did a wonderful job of getting Ashiki in good shape. The improvement is incredible. I hope that she does follow your lead. You should have no guilt, as you did all you could.
And I concur about your talent in picture taking. I would gladly pay you to take portraits of my babies and me.
