I can't unsubscribe from MyDFA announcements

Hello-

I can't stop getting myDFA announcements of local events. I deleted my account close to two years ago and have been getting them ever since.

I filled out the form on this page several times.

Finally, on July 7th, I called DFA in Burlington. I spoke to someone named "Dave", who answered the phone. He seemed nice enough, but he was having what he called "technical problems". He made them sound like they were temporary, and he assured me that I wouldn't be receiving any more emails from DFA. I told him I would call back if I had any more problems.

On July 11th, I received another email. I called Burlington, and found the voicemail for the "webmaster" and left a voice mail, as it was after hours. I never heard from anyone.

So, tonight, at 9:45 PM, I received yet another announcement.

Does anybody have any suggestions as to what I should do now? Does anybody reading this know anybody in Burlington?

I can be reached through PM'ing me on this DU account.

I'm sorry to bother you. This really isn't trying to be a criticism of anything you do, or of anything you stand for. I just need some help. My email service doesn't really block email addresses, they just send them to the trash folder, which I will eventually have to delete manually anyway.

But, besides that, this is a PR issue. Why would anyone want to send a DFA member to Congress if they can't get a simple, constituent issue thing like this resolved in two years?

I really hope that the next couple of replies to this post will be solutions and not more reports about every time I get a new announcement.

Thank you very much,
Kire

PS, in case anyone's interested, there's going to be a comedy night called "Laughing Liberally" in Morristown, NJ on Saturday Night. Check myDFA for details!
