So I haven't had a dream that I could remember in over a month. I fell out completely exhausted one night this week and dreamed that I was moving into this really nice, dark cozy space. I was enchanted because the living room had these French doors that opened up to reveal a small park, almost like a Japanese garden area. An elderly couple and some small kids were out there enjoying the twilight. They waved hellos to me and I waved back. I went into the kitchen and there was my husband unpacking dishes and stuff. I hugged him from behind, he turned around and I said, we should bring the lamps on the next run. I woke up so happy, content, enchanted.

Now, my sister Is moving this weekend. We haven't really discussed her new digs because it's just another identical looking townhouses in the same community. Only thing she is really excited about is that the washer/dryer are upstairs and she's thrilled not lugging laundry downstairs.

So she calls me the morning after the dream and I immediately said, I've got to tell you about my dream. So she says you go first. So I tell her the dream and she starts laughing and says you were dreaming about me and D - her husband - that's what happened last night in the new place, even down to me telling D that we have to remember the lamps.

She said, The difference is we were laughing about how much KOB would love the lack of lighting and they fell into chatter about my other idiosyncrasies :wtf::rofl: She said it was the first time though that she's happy about not moving closer to water as they planned and saving up while living in a newly remodeled place with a little park just a step away.

on edit: wrote elderly people instead of elderly couple
