Greenlee is my "garden cat." I adopted her at about 16 weeks from a fellow DU-er, a lovely person by the name of Denise, about five years ago. Denise rescued Greenlee, her mommy, and her siblings and found them all homes. Greenlee's mom and her little family were found under a huge rosebush outside Denise's house out near Freeport, LI.
All the cats in that family were incredibly beautiful. Greenlee's sister is the most beautiful cat I've ever seen. Anyway, here's Greenlee looking up at me in the garden:

I put a cat fence up and the morning glories grew up the fence and into the cat fence barrier. Greenlee, trying to get out but unable to, decided to make lemonade out of her "lemon" and used the cat fence as a hammock!

Here she is in front of my fireplace:

And here it appears she is dreaming of desserts! :)

She is the sweetest cat. She's very smart but ditzy. She's not a particularly good hunter, thank heavens. Mostly she just likes to hang around with the plants, sunning herself. Sometimes she goes over to my neighbor Karen's house and visits her bulldog buddy, Morsel. When Karen and I have tea outdoors, she always joins us. She's such a good kitty and I love her so much.
