7. Not sure where you got your info about Dr Weil's rice cookers,
so I decided to do some research and I couldn't find anything about his cookers having any teflon. I did find some places selling his cookers and this one indicates there is No teflon.

this is his 10 cup cooker his 5 cup is the same

As far as rice cookers are concerned I wouldn't waste my money on one. I received one as a gift many years ago and used it once. We make rice on the stove top and it is simple.

Melt some butter, add the rice and coat with the butter, add the water (usually 1 cup rice 2 cups water) bring to slow boil for 3 minutes. Turn off heat, cover with lid and let stand for 20 minutes. You will have fluffy rice that doesn't clump together.
