People who know the term are all too familiar with its gag potential.

Another religious term which always amuses me (ok, I'm easily amused) is "primate": in some Christian churches, some bishops are primates (the others are a lower form of life, I suppose). For example, in the Anglican Communion, there are 38 primates, and they meet up annually for a "primates' meeting" led by the big silverback alpha male, the Archbishop of Canterbury. No doubt some of these primates believe "I din't come from no monkey".
