13. Try it on Thanksgiving

Yep, happened to me several years ago around noon on Thanksgiving Day. Same thing, bad snow storm and somebody took out a power pole. Luckily I had a propane stove so I could keep cooking. But I also had 3 bored little kids, no football games, and had to keep them all out of the frig to keep the cold in. Power came back on around 3 or 4. I felt bad for whoever who had to go out and fix it because that family was likely grumbling too.
