3. A bit about Hackett on the Ed Schultz show recently
Paul Hackett filled in for Ed Schultz on Monday. In my opinion, he should hold on to his day job, and not count on a career as a radio talk show host. I didn't hear much of his show, other than the first few minutes, because I was on my way to meet up with Tay, Vek and WEL at the mall. I was not impressed with Hackett's radio 'talents'. He sounded like he was reading off a script, at least from the few minutes I caught.

Yesterday, Schultz had Hackett on as a guest, and that's where I heard him dissing Murtha. Hackett is also a lawyer, and he is legally representing a Marine who claims he is being mistakenly connected by Murtha to the Haditha massacre. Apparently Murtha has been talking about three Marine officers having been relieved of command shortly after the incident. But it seems Hackett's client was relieved of command for reasons unrelated to the Haditha incident, and his unit was not involved in the events at Haditha. So he wants Murtha to stop lumping his client in with the other Marine officers he's talking about.
