170. Sadly, that is an all-too-common tale.
The churches that are dying have only themselves to blame.
I've told them if we didn't change our priorities, we'd have the best looking emptyest (sp?) church in town. And that's what's happening.

I basically told my committee that we obviously had a conflict in priorities, and that I wasn't interested in satisfying the grumblers (no pandering from me!!); and since they weren't budging, then it would probably be best for me to move on. THEN they said, "We don't want you to leave!"

Boo-fucking-Hoo (in my best Grinch voice).
