I'm a 'walking widow'. [View All]

Has anyone else been in these shoes? My husband has been battling cancer for 8 years. Due to his condition, there is absolutely NO intimacy. I've been able now to take myself out to restaurants and eat alone (he has a G-tube and hooks up at night to obtain most of his daily nourishment that way). I take him to treatment and drive him home to care for him.
Our daughter has moved out lately (it was time) and I'm happy for her, but I also wish that I could start a new life myself.
My husband is cranky most of the time (I understand - I don't know how I'D be feeling in his shoes).... but it seems that I can't do anything right in his eyes. I'm just tired of it all.
