Thanks for your reply. And thanks for being a donor to Amnesty International. It's kind of a shame that we have to have all of these organizations doing what the government should be really be doing in the first place. Unfortunately, without these organizations tackling the issues, it's pretty obvious that the government would ignore the problem completely. As it is, by having Condi come out and make one little statement, the current administration probably figures they have done their job and that's all they intend to do on the matter. "Hey, look at us! We're the GOOD guys. We think human trafficking and the sex slave trade are BAD things!" Luckily AI, HRW and others will keep after them because the government sure isn't going to do anything about it on their own.
