1. Waste of time, fool. To quote Ralph Shoenman, "Political reform is the
result of independant organizing, outside the political parties provided by the corporate ruling class."
To begin with, read Noam Chomsky, Howard Zinn, listen to dicidents, and by all means say things that will cause the DUers to hit their "IGNORE" buttons. The pablum that the military industrial complex, the prison industrial complex will yield up their megalithic hold on power is exactly what they want to hear, and to ignore.
I heard the best explanation of what is driving the U.S. war on Iraq, by Noam on Monday at the UN.
The Saudi Oil money and this administration are one with the farce.
Venezuela, surviving the U.S. backed Coup de eta two years ago, has more oil (heavy crude though) than the Saudi ARISTOCRACY, and threatens to LOWER the barrel cost substantially. Because Chavez payed off their IMF debt, payed off Bolivia's IMF debt and their independance from IMF, read U.S. Treasury, control over their monetary and oil export policy SCARES THE BUSH-SAUDI cartell to their money grubbing souls, which explains the U.S. hysteria over Venezuela's pres. Hugo Chavez.
So if you think a couple of letters to a perpetual war-profitter congressman or two will persuade them to do ANYTHING, think again. IGNORE button time?
