Jun. 9 - Lynne Cheney, wife of the vice president, will read to children Saturday in the hangar bay of the aircraft carrier George Washington at Naval Station Norfolk, Va.

The event, part of the ship’s Family Day, is limited to family and friends of George Washington crew and officers.

Lt. Cmdr. Bill Speaks, public affairs officer on GW, said roughly 600 guests are expected, of which some 200 are children.

Cheney will read from her new children’s book, “When Washington Crossed the Delaware: A Wintertime Story for Young Patriots.”

=====

Ah, yes, Lynne Cheney, authoress. "The women who embraced in the wagon were Adam and Eve crossing a dark cathedral stage," Lynne Cheney wrote. "No, Eve and Eve, loving one another as they would not be able to once they ate of the fruit and knew themselves as they truly were." Etcetera.

Then she proceeded to call Kerry "tawdry" and "not a good person" for acknowedging her daughter asa lesbian.
