9. Didn't two reporters just write a book about this?
Isn't that one of the reasons that was given for why the Times released the info at this point in time? Weren't they trying to scoop the scoopers?

Doesn't it make sense that they were told by who ever the whistle-blower was? I would keep my eye on those two authors. Seems they are in the hotseat now.

I heard blivet** give his little speech about this today. Made me madder than a wet hen! When it happened to Plame, he was all about "I'm not sure we will ever know who did it". Now, since it hurt him in a way that he didn't PLAN for (like I believe that they planned for Plame to be ousted for other gains, he is all up in the news with what he considers righteous indignation. He can't have it both ways. He can't turn a blind eye to the demise of an operation that was 20 years in the making and supporting and then cry foul to his illegal activities being exposed. National Security was involved in Plame much more than telling the "terrorists" what they were probably smart enough to assume anyway!

I, for one, am not buying the crocodile tears.
