Catherine Merridale

Catherine Merridale profiles Russian Army soldiers during World War II in her new book, "Ivan's War." This event was hosted by the Harriman Institute of Columbia University in New York City.

Catherine Merridale is a profesor of contemporary history at Queen Mary, University of London, and is the author of "Night of Stone." Her work has been featured in the London Review of Books, The Independent and the New Statesman.
