You know....I have just about had it with the USA [View All]

(warning: partial rant)

I love this country more than anything. But I see it falling more and more apart with each passing day. And you know, I have begun to think about saving money, putting it in gold, and think about what to do about the distant future. Whether to stick it out or think about moving elsewhere. It is going to get ugly in this country in about 20 years.

I seriously don't believe America will last to 2030. At least not in the current form that we know and love. I see the elitists have taken over the government. I see that congress and the people have absolutely no power anymore. The national debt is so high that our great-grandchildren will still be paying it off. Our school system is a joke. Health care and social security are going to go bankrupt. And our damn government doesn't give a damn how many Mexicans flood across the border. By 2026, our population will have increased 200 million people if we pass an amnesty bill and with present birth rates staying constant. Do we have the jobs, the health care, and the education to provide for a 1/2 billion people? No. If we refuse to control the amount of immigrants...this number will soar even higher. We are going to turn into a 3rd world country. The unskilled labor market will be flooded. Average wages will plummit. And the cost of living will soar.

Then our politicians have set this country up to be a capitalist-imperial empire. Bush already signed agreements with Mexico and Canada to build a NAFTA super-highway from Canada to Mexico that will be 4 football fields wide. And the government is going to use Imminent Domain to force everyone in the way of this highway to move out of their homes. And the containers that travel on this new highway will be exempt from interference of the labor unions, and exempt from EPA standards.

You can call me crazy or whatever you want. But I see the writing on the wall. America is suffering a very slow death right now. The people in power don't give a damn about the country or the people. They care about themselves and their corporations. It doesn't matter who wins the elections. The two-party system has systematically destroyed this country. Just like George Washington said it would do.

I am just so frustrated and angry about all this right now...
