I want to throw this out there to see how DU feels about this subject, hopefully this thread will not get locked and thrown into one of the dungeons.

My question/thoughts have to do with the 9/11 movie due out on 08/09/2006.

I was commenting with co-worker how I thought it may be early/a little hard for people to stomach and what not, and then in the same breath I made an offhanded comment about how the people who did this(OBL) are still running free, meanwhile we have lost all of these lives and $$ on Iraq, also compounded by the fact N. Korea has the missile and all.

Well this was my co-worker's response, she said don't you think that maybe this movie will get people all fired up again about what happened on 9/11 and the fact that this may get people enraged that we STILL haven't got OBL in this "War on Terror"?

I thought that this was a point worth sharing with you all.

So do you think something like this movie especially given the timing before the fall elections could fly in the face of the Rethugs strategy of beating the "War on Terror" drums?

Could this get people so pissed about pretty much nothing getting done since 9/11 other than the wasted lives and $$ on Iraq?

Your thoughts positive or negative are always appreciated.
