It really seems like he uses the "you're too PC" comeback way too much whenever the audience doesn't laugh at a joke. Maybe he doesn't really think they are this way, and it is all part of a larger bit he has created, but I cannot be sure of this, as I have not seen enough of him to make a sound judgement. All I can say is that perhaps the audience wasn't "too PC" for that joke. Perhaps it just wasn't funny.
