If you dad still calls himself a Republican, he's not a good person. If you know someone teaching English in China, bully for you, but how is that helping save the planet from the Republican maniacs now in charge???? I don't have to know every person, but I do know the Republican party platform and I know what the Republicans vote for in office. Anyone who supports ANY of that is not good.

It's too bad you don't realize how deep the Republican rot runs. "Traditional" Republicans are little better. They aren't evil to the core like the current bunch, but they aren't that far off either. The self-absorbed, pro-war streak is a common trait. Your family ties and friendships are blinding you to the truth.
