19. The weirder thing is that
He was actually a civil rights attorney in the 1960s then something snapped, and he just really started hating homosexuals and started going batshit crazy and got disbarred.

I've run into him twice now.

First time was at my brother's law school graduation at the University of Kansas (where he graduated). They were holding up signs that said, "Kansas Gayhawks," and stuff. I was disappointed in that I couldn't think of anything to do to them on the spur of the moment when we were walking into the building the ceremony was in.

Second time was in Tulsa. They came to protest a gay rights picnic, and they were given one small corner of the park that it was held in. I got across from them with two signs: God Is Love and Fred Phelps Is a Wanker. I'm a pretty big guy (probably useless in a fight though), but two of the protestors put down their signs and started across the street... until I took out my juggling torches and lit them. :)
