10. My best friend's mother died about 4 yrs ago, and before she

died I gave her a "gift" of a flock of chicks through Heifer Int. She was so pleased and tickled about it that after she died, every year I give something different, like bunnies, bees, goats, etc in her memory. Her family always gets teary-eyed when they get the card. I also gave my mother a share of a water buffalo for Mother's Day, but she wasn't exactly pleased with it at first, but later decided it was a good gift. I love and believe in Heifer Int fully.
