For myself, I think I'd be forced to consider myself intolerant (at best) if I stated any one thing was a deal breaker in the course of a relationship.

Many of my fellow parishioners will only go out with Christians. I consider them simpletons (at best) in that respect. And since God, my faith and my church are the single, most defining aspects of who I am, I'd be a hypocrite to deny a relationship for one particular thing or philosophy.

Indeed, my most recent LTR was with a republican and we had a blast together. Only reason we stopped going out was that her job transferred her out of state, otherwise we'd still be going out and laughing at bone-heads on both the Left and the right.
