22. The carter school is still public, and many of the kids do eventually
return to a PS, as the families are generally not the right-wing fundies who want to destroy the government and public institutions. Many are actors (this is LA), children who are ill, kids who are far ahead or far behind, or kids in a failing district wanting a transfer.


I don't know how to answer the publisher question. We have a choice of many curriculum, or none at all, if one prefers. Everything does, however, have to pass through me as their teacher.
