Insecure at Last: Losing It in Our Security Obsessed World
Eve Ensler

Eve Ensler talks about security and what it means to be free. In the book, she examines the post-9/11 world, drawing on her personal experience and on the stories of Afghan women, hurricane Katrina survivors, and anti-war activist Cindy Sheehan. During the discussion, Ms. Ensler reads excerpts from her book and comments on her personal insecurities. This event was hosted by the Women and Children First Bookstore in Chicago, Illinois.

Eve Ensler is a playwright whose works include "Floating Rhoda and the Glue Man," "Lemonade," "Necessary Targets," and "The Vagina Monologues." She has raised more than $35 million from performances of "The Vagina Monologues," which goes towards stopping violence against women. Eve Ensler won an Obie Award in 1996 for her play "The Vagina Monologues."
