36. Talk to the mentally ill
I find that mentally ill people can be very guillable, which is why we need to make sure that their last communication from society before voting is not from the TV set. One mentally ill person I spoke with had voted for Bush in 2004. I don't know why he voted for Bush, but he watches religion on TV, so I'm guessing CBN convinced him to vote on "family values". I asked him what the difference between a Democrat and Republican is, and all he could come up with was "Republicans are for the rich, and Democrats are for the poor, right?". And he is not mentally retarded, just completely uninterested in politics, and yet feels he needs to vote - probably a message obtained from television.

I had to set him straight on a couple of things - how the Republicans are America's fascist party, much like the Nazis were Germany's fascist party back in those days. Then I told him what the Nazis did with the mentally ill, especially if they didn't have a family. Then I let him know what the Republicans wanted to do with the Social Security program. That was all that was required to make him angry enough to vote for the Democrats in 2006.

We really have to help educate them, since most of them have a hard time doing it on their own.
