Gore was Vice President of the United States. None of those other people can make the same claim.

Gore has it ALL over Kerry. There's no comparison between the two. Hillary will be Gore's main challenger in the primary.

I take nothing away from Clark, but don't think he'll be able to compete with Hillary, and without Gore in the race, Hillary's main challenge will probably come from Edwards.

Theoretically, if Gore won, he could actually have 3 people to choose from that would make a strong ticket. Feingold or Edwards would be most likely, although picking Hillary would raise lots of eyebrows for sure, as it would make her the first Female Vice President, and put her in a prime position to run in 8 years if she wanted. I don't think they get along though, and Gore would be more likely to choose Feingold/Edwards as his running mate, if he won.
