It was a folding chair and this is how to do it:
- After doing the pre-flight checklist, unlock the cockpit and open the door;
- Toss a spare cushion onto the wing just past the aileron;
- Remove the wheelchair's leg rests and put them on the wing;
- Transfer to the wing;
- Remove the cushion from the wheelchair and toss it inside;
- Fold the chair;
- Slide up the wing near the leading edge;
- Turn the chair and grab the handles;
- Tilt back and pull the chair up onto the wing;
- Maneuver it through the door and into the back seat;
- Get into the cockpit;
- Attach the hand-controls to the rudder pedal downtubes on the passenger side;
- Get ready for flight.
