13. In the mid-90s, the dctor was reluctant to do my tubal--after I had two kids!

Because I was still in my twenties, he thought I might still want to have more babies. And then I had to have it done at a separate outpatient surgery center instead of the big hospital I gave birth at, because it was a Catholic hospital and wouldn't allow its OR to be used.
