Quite simply, it was to bring the wealth of the American people down. We were getting too wealthy. Pardon me if this meant something only to me, after waking out of a dream at 4am. But I believe this was their mission. And this is also why he could stand on that aircraft carrier the way he did. He really did accomplish his mission. It had nothing to do with Iraq. It was about bankrupting us. Why? So we would be competitive with China, and the other cheap labor countries of the world. So we would do anything they put in front of us for work. Bush and his friends may be rich, but the corporations must have a work force to be profitable. As China becomes more wealthy, their wages will rise. They are already working on the next phase. The one where the American people are the next cheap labor.
Just a thought. One that springs from the thought that so many Americans are willing to torture. Somehow that got me to thinking about how people will do anything for work, if they need it badly enough. Well, not those on DU. But many others. And that is the mission. Make us needy.
