18. That Might Be A Tad Of An Exaggeration
International Women's Day is a major day of global celebration for the economic, political and social achievements of women (per wikipedia). I think it's great to celebrate it and the reasons for its existence are sound.

What I don't find in the definition, however, is any reference that declares it disrespectful or taboo for anyone else to hold any opinion or topic for discussion on anything else other than women's rights on that day. That would be a bit of an exaggeration. Furthermore, there has been no shortage of discussion of women's rights here lately, so claiming International Women's Day turned out to be all about how men feel is dishonest, misleading and false on its face.

If posting that notion is what makes you feel better though, than have at it. No biggie. :)
