On DU a while back I read some threads on a group that holds prayer groups and recruits upcoming republican politicians. They have sabbaticals in which they play basketball (for Jesus?) I remember reading about the group and reaching for my tin foil. It read very cult like. I thought I remember reading that this group held "prayer groups" in the mornings at the Whitehouse and the senate. It seems this would explain alot if any of it were true. G.W. strikes me as a stupid and gullible shell of a man whom would be susceptible to a cult like religious group filling his empty head with all kinds of "Gods word".

Anybody know what this group is?

I totally freaked when I read up on it. Had some big names and heavy hitters in the group but for the life of me I can't remember the names to google.
