1. Indeed, my vision of the near future includes being pulled over for a
minor traffic offence and being questioned by a state trooper with a sub machine gun. I also see the day when they shut down free travel between the states. They'll say that it's to prevent crime from moving unabated from coast to coast.
All they have to do is close off secondary roads at the borders and set up checkpoints on the interstates. "Please have national ID card ready"
